Still, you will probably be impressed with how these folks are totally at ease with these snakes and their environment. They obviously enjoy what they do and it should help anyone getting ready to go backpacking for a few days or a few weeks to feel more at ease knowing that while these venomous pit vipers do inhabit our environment if you follow basic simple rules you should not encounter any trouble.
